Pam Mostek - Former editorial and creative assistant to Debbie
Mumm set out to break new ground and by starting her own pattern design
company. After about six years of designing and publishing more or less
traditional quilt patterns, she found that she was pulled back to those
early years studying and working as an artist and has become passionate
about art quilts. She will be lecturing and conducting a workshop the
following day. Detail as they become available.

Jim Carroll - The Carroll's have been dealers of antique
American quilts and textiles for more than thirty years. Recently the
Hockaday Museum of Art and the Museum at Central School in Kalispell
teamed up to present a collection of antique quilts, assembled by Jim
and Kate Carroll of Anaconda, Montana. The antique quilts were displayed
through October 15th. The traveling exhibit consists of sixteen quilts
and coverlets, each with a very human story to tell. The exhibition was
designed to welcome questions from viewers – and to inspire new quilters
to try their hand at this “rewarding and fun ancient craft form.” The
Carroll’s have a great antique shop in Anaconda on Hickory Street. It's
worth a trip over there to see it.

- KaeAnn Annen - KaeAnn designs dolls in the manner of Eleanor Piece
Bailey. These are whimsical and creative. We have been assured that
workshop attendees will be able to complete a doll in one session with
KaeAnne. Two samples were viewed at the October Guild meeting. These
dolls should get your creative juices flowing and be fun while you're
learning her techniques.
